The DaFang DF062 is DaFang AI's 6-metre wall finishing robot, built for tall interiors: factories, warehouses, classrooms, office buildings and car parks with walls up to 6 m. It does the same four jobs as the residential DF033 — concrete wall grinding, putty skimming, putty wall sanding and paint spraying from interchangeable modules — but on a much larger machine with a lifting column and an articulated arm.

Reach is what sets it apart. The DF062 sprays paint from floor level to 6,200 mm and skims and sands putty up to 5,250 mm, where the DF033 stops at 3,850 mm and 3,400 mm. DaFang describes it as an 8-axis machine: the base turns through 360°, the lifting column sets the working height, the arm pitches, extends and rotates, and the fitted module carries out the process.

It is also the model with published concrete grinding figures: C15 to C70 concrete walls, up to 30 m²/h on C40 at 2 mm depth, up to 2.4 kW grinding power and a maximum depth of 5 mm. In DaFang's lab testing it paints at up to 150 m²/h at 8–20 MPa from an external 20 L bucket, skims at up to 50 m²/h and sands at up to 60 m²/h with 60–320 mesh paper.

At up to 300 kg and 1665 × 860 × 1726 mm it is a heavy machine, so DaFang made it modular: it separates into chassis, lifting system and gimbal for transport, and is designed for quick assembly and disassembly. It drives itself with laser radar and visual cameras at up to 200 mm/s, maps its working path by SLAM, gives voice alerts that include remaining paint level, and reports battery, chassis temperature and humidity to an Android or tablet app.
