Description
The Unitree G1 Edu Ultimate A is a high-end humanoid configuration featuring 3-finger dexterous hands (Dex3-1) for advanced manipulation research. This variant targets laboratories and development teams requiring active grasping capability, object handling, and tool use experiments alongside bipedal locomotion and whole-body control.
The Dex3-1 three-fingered hands provide 7 active degrees of freedom per hand: 3 DOF in the thumb, 2 DOF in the index finger, and 2 DOF in the middle finger. Optional tactile sensor arrays can be installed for force-feedback manipulation and contact-aware grasping research. This configuration enables meaningful manipulation experiments without the complexity of five-finger systems.
Building on the Edu Plus foundation, the Ultimate A features expanded degrees of freedom totaling up to 43 DOF (body + hands). The platform includes full secondary development support, 100 TOPS GPU, and 120 N·m knee torque for dynamic locomotion combined with dexterous manipulation.
The G1 Edu Ultimate A serves manipulation research, embodied AI development, teleoperation studies, and mobile manipulation applications requiring coordinated locomotion and grasping. The platform bridges whole-body humanoid motion with practical end-effector capability for real-world object interaction.
