Description
The KEENON XMAN-R1 is KEENON Robotics' wheeled humanoid service robot. At 174 cm and 110 kg it moves on a 2-DoF wheeled chassis that breaks scene boundaries, so one robot adapts to multiple service scenarios, with 36 degrees of freedom across the whole body.
It carries two 7-DoF arms with two 6-DoF dexterous hands, a 2-DoF head, four depth vision cameras and four HD wide-angle cameras for 360° coverage, HD omnidirectional microphones, dual-channel speakers and an HD flexible curved facial display, 275 TOPS of AI computing with 64 GB of VRAM and 64 GB of storage, and VR dual-arm teleoperation with multi-modal sensing and feedback. Two LiDARs give forward and rearward perception for the mobile base.
A VLA-based end-to-end model trained with deep reinforcement learning gives fast iteration and robust behaviour, a self-developed communication protocol builds a dedicated private network for robots, and a fully open hardware and software platform makes skill upgrades easier. KEENON has shown the XMAN-R1 working as a barista, picking up cups, preparing coffee and placing drinks at a latte-art machine.
