Description
The Genisom L1 EDU RoamerX Pro is the L1 EDU with Genisom's paid RoamerX Pro software package, for teams that want an autonomous quadruped they can put on patrol rather than a navigation stack they build themselves. Genisom places RoamerX Pro at industry-application level: algorithms and app work together as one finished loop, it runs stably in the scenarios it is made for, and it needs only some software-integration skill.
The package brings Genisom's own middleware and its in-house mapping, localisation, obstacle avoidance, navigation and return-to-charge functions, a front-end user interface and remote-call interfaces, delivered as a deb software package with an SDK. On site, the robot navigates several road types, avoids moving and static obstacles in real time and returns to charge on its own. Patrols are planned in the Orche app on a tablet: single- or multi-point tasks, several maps and routes, and live task status and robot track, so each round runs from setting the task to reviewing the result. Whether a charging dock is included is confirmed at quote.
Genisom backs the Pro package with a dedicated after-sales and technical support team and regular software upgrades during the service period, whose length is confirmed with the quotation. Genisom also plans to add 3D spatial navigation, with 3D mapping, cross-floor path planning and mixed indoor-outdoor routes, through a later over-the-air update. Typical work includes inspection rounds across industrial parks and plants and security patrols that work alongside fixed cameras.
The hardware is the same as on the L1 EDU: an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16 GB module with 100 TOPS, a Mid-360 3D LiDAR, an Intel RealSense depth camera, GNSS with an RTK antenna and a 5G module, pre-installed on the L1 platform. The 17 kg robot has 12 joints with 48 N·m peak torque, carries 5 kg at up to 3.7 m/s, climbs 30° slopes (40° at the limit), is rated IP54 and covers up to 4.5 km in 0.5–1.5 hours per charge. Its two Gigabit Ethernet ports, SBUS + RS-485, two USB 3.0 Type-C ports, 24 V DC output and SIM slot leave room for inspection payloads.

Frequently Asked Questions
The robot and navigation hardware are identical. The difference is software and support: RoamerX Pro is Genisom's paid package with its own mapping, localisation, obstacle avoidance, navigation and return-to-charge, the Orche tablet app and remote-call interfaces, plus a dedicated after-sales team and regular upgrades during the service period. The L1 EDU comes with the open-source RoamerX Open for research teams who build their own stack.
Teams that put the robot to work: inspection rounds across industrial parks and plants, and security patrols that work alongside fixed cameras, as well as labs that want a working navigation stack rather than a toolkit. Genisom says it needs some software-integration skill, where RoamerX Open needs strong algorithm skills.
Yes. It navigates several road types, avoids moving and static obstacles in real time and returns to charge by itself, and single- or multi-point patrol tasks are set in the Orche app. Whether a charging dock is included is confirmed at quote.
Genisom plans to add 3D spatial navigation, including 3D mapping, cross-floor path planning and mixed indoor-outdoor navigation, through a later over-the-air update. Until then, routes run on the current mapping and navigation functions.
Genisom provides regular RoamerX Pro upgrades and technical support during the service period. The length of that period is confirmed in writing with the quotation.
The Genisom L1 EDU RoamerX Pro Quadruped Robot is priced at SAR 67,500 in your market.
