Description
The AgiBot OmniHand 2025 with Tactile Sensors (Left) is the left-handed, touch-sensing edition of AgiBot's interactive dexterous hand, mirrored for the left wrist so it can be paired with the right tactile unit for two-handed, contact-rich work. It reproduces precision pinch, lateral key grip, power grasp and in-hand reorientation using tendon-driven actuation, compliant mechanics and multi-zone tactile sensing across up to 16–19 controllable degrees of freedom.
Tactile capability defines this variant: multi-cell pressure taxels sit on every fingertip (with an optional high-density gel-pad upgrade), and the controller fuses normal pressure, slip and shear cues, and joint feedback to fire grip-tighten, micro-roll and re-grasp reflexes. An optional palm 6-axis force/torque module enables whole-hand force control, and interactive LEDs plus haptic cues assist supervised teleoperation. With EtherCAT or CAN-FD control, ROS 2 drivers and modular fingertips, the left tactile hand fits manipulation research, robot learning and gentle handling in logistics, manufacturing and service trials.
